Major DIvision




The Major Division is for league ages 11 & 12 (age as of April 30th of the current year).
Players at this age usually know the basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and catching, and have developed enough fine motor skills to elevate their ability.
It is this division that produces a tournament team that could go to Williamsport for the Little League World series!


GENERAL INFORMATION:FOR SPRING OR REGULAR SEASON

Major Division uniform is included in the price of registration.
MLB shirt, MLB hat, pants, belt and socks.

The Major Division plays at 8:00pm (except on Saturday).

Major Division will have 2 games per week, normally scheduled on Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri., OR Sat. Playing a 12-14 game season.

SGLL does not play on Wednesdays, Sundays, Easter weekend and Memorial weekend.

NO 8pm games during STAAR testing

SGLL PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU:
League Charter fee
League Insurance
Game Balls
Umpires
Team trophies
End of season tournaments

GENERAL INFORMATION:FOR FALL SEASON

During the Fall season SGLL uses this as an opportunity for players to continue their involvement in Little League activities after the regular season ends. The informal setting is ideal for giving individual instruction to players of all ages.

THE BENEFITS TO FALL BASEBALL
• Parents often prefer additional opportunities for their children to play baseball over other seasonal athletic programs.
• The program will be conducted on an informal basis with training and instruction.
• Enables youngsters to make a smoother transition to next division based on next year’s age.

*NO OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPING
*NO STANDING
*NO MAKEUPS
*NO UNIFORMS,OR TROPHIES PROVIDED BY THE LEAGUE

PLAYER REGISTRATION & FUND RAISING REQUIREMENTS
                      
*Registration FEE is $70.00 per player after January 1st            
DUE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATON!

*SGLL has ONE (1) FUND RAISER FOR THE SEASON

*SGLL will provide one (1) uniform for each registered player, provided that ALL fundraising requirements have been met.

*If a player has not turned in the fund raiser by the ASSIGNED DATE, COMPLETED & ACCOUNTED for, that player WILL NOT receive the league issued uniform.
           
**The fundraiser is a book of 50 raffle tickets at a cost of $2.00 each. Families that register 2 or more siblings are only responsible for ONE BOOK.
Cash prizes will be awarded at BOTH Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Need not be present to WIN!

YOU MAY CHOOSE TO:

** I/WE CHOOSE TO: Register without participation in the fundraiser.
Amount due at time of registration: $150.00
OR
** I/WE CHOOSE TO: Register and commit to COMPLETE the fundraiser by the ASSIGNED DATE.
Amount due at time of registration: $70.00
OR
** Register as an additional family member for $70.00 (a sibling is already registered per one of the two above choices).

***For families registering 3 or more siblings, the fee is $60.00 per player, and are only responsible for ONE fundraiser.
